I'm chomping at the bit waiting for this game HoodedSoldier 05-08-07, 11:31 PM 8.3 teamxbox http://reviews.teamxbox.com/xbox-360/1323/Command-Conquer-3-Tiberium-Wars/p1/ 8.7 gamespot http://www.gamespot.com/pages/gamespace/reviews.php?page=1&pid=936936 7.0 1up http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?cId=3159307 modiGTI 05-08-07, 11:32 PM EGM is around 7.0-8.5 Looks like the game runs solid though, so no lag issues like BFMII. dpe8598 05-08-07, 11:38 PM The game runs incredibly smoothely relative to LOTR on the 360, which I thought ran god awful. I've had some fun w/ it and I was beginning to give up on this genre. S-dogg 05-09-07, 12:59 PM How long is it taking you guys to get used to the controls? I've only had a chance to play the demo once (for about an hour), and the controls were tough. But, I feel like I could get used to them over time - what's the general feeling here? But, I feel like I could get used to them over time - what's the general feeling here? Actually after the first hour of the demo I was about to put it down for good. Over the next 3 hours I had a blast and thought the controls were fairly simple. I have not played this genre in 10 years and I skipped the training level so I think that says something as to what they have accomplished with the controls. :) TRALFAZ 05-09-07, 02:48 PM How long is it taking you guys to get used to the controls? I've only had a chance to play the demo once (for about an hour), and the controls were tough. But, I feel like I could get used to them over time - what's the general feeling here? I picked it up right away because LOTR-BFME had the same basic set-up. :D I'm amazed how intuitive the controls are. After NBA Street Homecourt and C&C... I actually feel good about EA again. IndyStylee 05-09-07, 03:11 PM I just picked up the game from gamestop. I've played the demo like 3 times so i'd know what i'm doing when I got the retail version. It really is a brilliant control scheme, and I'm pretty damn good with it! Can't wait to play this game in 46" HD brilliance. S-dogg 05-10-07, 12:56 PM Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'll hit the demo a few more times before picking up the full version, but it sounds like it's worth putting in a little extra time to master the controls. I know what you mean Tralfaz - I've been down on EA for a while. But Homecourt totally rocked, and with C&C finally on a console, maybe they're finally working overtime and making things happen. ileff 05-10-07, 01:52 PM I was going to buy some shares ATVI, maybe i'll just add to my ERTS instead. |
