saying he has good news about the demo, Im going to go out on a limb here and say if not tomorrow then atleast by friday.

thats it forget friday once 2am pacific hits this demo is going live. hellz ya. Will probably be the first banner we see when we load up live after the update.

OnlookerDelay 05-09-07, 08:07 AM Demo still is not up, nor is there any further news on it at Forzamotorsports.net, as of 7:56 AM EDT. Remember, Che only promised news about the demo within 12 hours, not necessarilyt the demo itself. I would say the chances are 50/50 we'll see the demo today.

No word on the Spring Update's effect on this download. I would suspect that you don't have to have it to download and play the demo.

From what I remember, if you refuse the update you will be signed out of Live so there will be no way to download anything from the marketplace. I think you are only able to refuse game-specific updates and still have access to Live.
I highly doubt Forza demo will be released today.

Next week Wednesday is the Halo 3 beta download. I think that is more anticipated than the Forza demo and will probably pose more of a bandwidth issue. They should be able to release the demo towards the end of this week to get at least some people playing it before H3 hits.

Elite, Update, C&C3, Forza 2 Demo, H3 beta, Forza 2, hopefully a Shadow Run demo somewhere in there and then Shadow Run all in May... Oh yeah, and new maps for R6V, GRAW2 and Gears...
so 4am it should be ready. glad I dont sleep... Next update needs an DL que/timer, so you can set it to go when ready LOL

2 am PST would be tomorrow. I figue if he says tonight it should be out by 11:59 PM PST. Of Course I originally thought it would be out in April so that's not saying much.

East coasters will have to wait up until 2 AM EST (warning: at the earliest) to jumpstart their downloads. Early details on the demo indicate that while only one of the game's thirteen tracks will be availabe in the demo (Mugello Short), 24 different cars should keep virtual drivers plenty occupied.
The demo version of Forza 2 will be single-player only, but will thankfully feature Xbox Wireless Racing Wheel support.

Sorry folks, just been told that it's actually 2AM PDT so that means 5AM EST.
Hope this hasn't thrown a wrench in your plans on staying up tonight.
My advice for east coasters: go to bed early, then wake up at 5AM to download the demo.
