Does anyone here have any experience with this remote¿ Looks like a good unit although large. Programable through pc. Decent price from many sources.

The TX-1000 is made to sit on tabletop, not be handheld, so factor that in to your decision. As such, it doesn't have hand recesses and it quite heavy. It is essentially a touchscreen version of the MX-900 (same programming capabilities). Be careful where you buy URC products as you will only get warranty coverage from URC if purchased from an authorized dealer.

Thanks for your answer. I realize it's big but should work well for me. Thanks also for the advice on the authorized dealer thing. I probably would not have thought of that. ;)
