Hi there,
i bought this pj two weeks ago on Ebay with state "as-is" without lamp. Now i'm trying to get it to work with some custom lamp (the original is about $300). My problem is that when i power on the pj, the fans start spinning and for about a half a second i can see blue picture on the LCDs. But after ~2 sec the pj turns back off and the power LED blinks red (standby). The status display shows error "C-0" -- "Misinstalled Air Filter Unit or Lamp cover".
The air filter seems to be ok cos the small switch there is in on-state. Because i don't have the lamp, i don't know how excatly tell the projector that "the lamp is there". Tried connecting some metal parts in the lamp compartment but without result. I also don't wanna give that much for the original lamp.
Does anybody have this projector and can take photos of the lamp and how it's fitted inside the pj? Or is there any workaround how to solve this? Maybe some similar type photos could help either...
