I have two EH50s with one having a dimmer display than the other one. Both work fine. Anybody with any experience with trouble shooting these units. Like where to check voltages and is the display an easy change?BTW I have done the settings to increase brightness. Thanks for reading...

Not sure about the E50, but with an E85 you can go into Setup--->Display and choose to have the display as bright, dimmed or automatic. I suspect that one of your units is set differntly than the other.
Hope this helps.

These displays get dimmer with time. The more hours your E50 has been plugged in, the dimmer the display will be. I would suspect the dim unit has more hours on it than the brighter unit. I think it is something you will have to live with. You might be able to get a new display from Panasonic but it's price would be out of this world and it likely would be very difficult to replace unless you are experienced with miniature electronic repair and soldering.
