Ok, it seems simple but cant get help. I have purchased a second hand Stewart screen lx100h with the low voltage control installed It has the mini plug receptaclefor the screen trigger. my projector is the Sharp xv-z9000u and has a DC 12v output receptacle on back. What do I need and where can i find what is needed for the trigger operation. mini plug cable and dc 12v output converter ,relay etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thankyou , Chris

What happens when you connect a cable from the 12v Trigger port on the projector to the screen connection? If you need to make the cable, Ratshack should have the wire and two 3.5mm jacks - I believe the tip is positive and the sleeve is ground.

There are a few options; Contact Stewart for advice on your particular screen - there's a Stewart thread on AVS and occasionally a Stewart rep. will respond. Also, you can check out the Niles CS12V or perhaps drive the screen with 12v triggers from you receiver or processor.

Thanks for the reply. The problem is that its a different type plug connector on the projector, to power the trigger. It looks like a power supply connector and its not a mini plug. This is a common Sharp projector and there must be a simple cable, I would think.

as far as I know, all you need is to find out what type of connector you need on the sharp and connect that to one side of the wire and connect the min plug for the projector on othe other side. Its really a very simple thing
