Hello Everyone,

I have been using XBox Media Center for a while now, and I'm very happy with it. Works great and plays almost everything I throw at it. Unfortunately it does not play any HD content at all. And since I have a Sony HC1 camcorder, I'm starting to accumulate some HD content I'd like to be able to play on my 1080p LCD panel!

So I'm looking for something new... Basically, I would like Nero MP4 playback (including 5.1 surround audio support) for the SD stuff and MPEG 2 TS and WMV HD support for the HD stuff. Only caveat is that the MPEG2 TS stuff is in HDV format (1440x1080i I believe, not 1920x1080i). Oh, and I also need a high WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor), so the interface can't be too weird or buggy...

Does the TVix HD 5000 fit this bill? Or is there something else out there? Or should I just wait??
