Shadowrun is going to be released may 29th and has already gone gold. If this game had a demo and I liked it I could see myself spending $40 or so on it. That $40 price tag is what most game reviewers thought the game should be priced at. But the full $60 + xbox live for a multiplayer only game with only 9 maps and 3 different multiplayer variations...come on. The pc game is going to be $50 and they don't have to pay to be online. Even if I do like the game if they come out with a demo I'm prolly not going to buy it. Here's link.

yeah, same here...

this game feels to me like counter-strike... which was a mod of half-life and therefore free...

If this game had a single player campaign, I could see spending $60, but without it, this game is not worth $59.99.

I kind of got upset when I saw the release of the next gen consoles, where the games would now be $59 instead of $49 as they had always been. I read up on it, and I understood it costs more to make these games, especially with the level of detail they take.

This game however, is only doing multi-player (or single-player with bots) only, and should not have the costs that Gears of War or Lost Planet, or Halo 3 do. Therefore they shouldn't need to charge the full amount for this game.

I'll download the demo when it comes out, but I don't see myself spending $60 on it. Besides, there are so many other great things coming out this year... Halo 3 beta will be going on, and I've still got my "seriously" to work on in GoW. Mass effect was slated for this summer also, but I'm not sure if they pushed that back. Either way, I've got plenty of options besides Shadowrun...

I was lucky enough to get into the Shadowrun beta early on. I played it exclusively every time I logged on to live. I have a feeling the demo will only give a small sample of what this game has to offer. I found it pretty challenging.

This game is alot deeper than a couple gameplay modes on a few maps. I loved the beta and will gladly be picking it up for $60.

I didn't like the beta enough to spend $60 on it. MS should really rethink the one price fits all pricing strategy. At $39.99 it probably would do a lot better in the long run.

AT $40 Id potentially buy it (subject to play before cash is handed over). At $60 I wont even entertain this game.

As a beta tester for this game you will be surprised how much fun this game is. I won't buy it because I have been playing it for to long. You will enjoy it trust me.

If you beta'd this game you'd know it's a really fun game. You can have a hella good time playing this if you're any good at FPS. The teamplay aspects are great as well. This is THE game right now for FPS fans who want to prove the old adage that people playing on gamepads are somehow crippled as being completely wrong. Don't be surprised to see people on the 360 kicking butt, even against good Mouse/Keyb players on the PC.

This game will go on sale in relatively short order. 9 maps for an exclusively multiplayer game is a crime. It should have 12+.

played the beta but wont be buying even for $40. Comes out with FM2 and I enjoy tuning, customizing and racing cars more than running around, shooting and magic; especially for the same price.

and they probably already have 3-4 maps with 1-2 gameplay modes ready for DLC at another $10ea.
