My brother in law just had his dvd drive in his 360 go bad. He tried all his games in the system and each and every one says the disc is not readable. I know he told me recently that a couple of times he has turned off his xbox right in the middle of it playing a game. I told him that probably wasn't the best thing to do but I was curious if anyone knows if powering off the system while it is spinning and reading info off the disc can hurt it at all. and might be why now his system won't read games anymore.
