"Next Review: Sony AW15, a new 720p LCD HT projector. Review is in write up stage. "
Those familiar with Art at Projector Review will probably want to know about this. I see this as Sony's best LCD effort and hoping it establishes a new LCD high ground. We shall see. Price looks inviting enough.

I wouldn't expect any thing extraordinary out of his review.
AW-15 is an evolved version of 51a/60 with brighter lamp and more sophisticated DI.
I absolutely love my 51A and expect this one to be a better suited unit for those who love low black level and higher top lumen. I will not upgrade my 51A for some time.

sorry to burst your bubble but that message has been there for several weeks on his site now :)
Thanks. Facts never burst my bubbles or rain on my parades. I guess I just share rahimlee's excitement. Imagine Sony putting their best foot forward at popular pricing. You can bet I'll read Art's review, word for word.

Once again, you do get what you pay for.
In retrospect, the HS51a seemed to be overpriced now.
Agree that the Sony has very natural color for movies but not for sports.
I read Art's review and I agree, very underwhelming.
The good news is that Sony's wide distribution
gives fp exposure to quite a few people who might
not otherwise see a projector. At this price point
there might be people who take the plunge. (Afterall,
the new Sony's would compare very well to the
buzz projectors of just a few years ago at a much lower
price). Once the bug bites there is no turning back.
