View Full Version : Comcast's On Demand Audio Problem

Has anyone experienced a problem receiving the 5.1 audio when watching an On Demand broadcast from Comcast Cable in New Jersey ?

The 5.1 Audio works fine when watching a prerecorded 5.1 DVD or an HD Channel broadcast in 5.1, however when watching a movie that is supposedly being broadcast in 5.1 using the On Demand the audio signal only comes through as 2 channel stereo.

I've double checked my equipment, wiring etcetera & it all checks out fine.

So does Comcast Cable have an audio signal problem with their On Demand broadcasts or what ?

I'd appreciate any help !!!

I can't answer your question, but what box you have might help others do so.

(DonoMan - thanks for the heads up) The cable box I'm using from Comcast is the Scientific Atlanta 3250 HD Converter Box.
