I just bought a 46" sharp lcd. My old crt is using the smae remote channel. ie turning on, input change, etc.

Is there any way to change it so each remote only works on one tv?

There's probably not going to be any way to do that with the original remotes but if you get a universal remote that has RF capability and an RF extender with addressable IR emitters you can easily set that up. The remote would send the command to the RF receiver and the receiver would send the command via a direct emitter only to the TV that you want to control. Take a look at the URC MX-350 with MRF250.
