I am ready to take the plunge and start collecting HDDVD and Bluray DVD's.

I was wondering if there is any dual player that can also stream media from a network computer?

I'm in the same shoes (unfortunately I cannot upgrade my Snazio).
As much as I hate Sony I have to admit the most sense would make just to buy a PS3 for $600, install free Ubuntu + free linuxMCE on it, buy NeroLINUX 3 when it comes out the end of this month (around $50-60 but free beta is already available) & plug in a $180 USB HD-DVD drive - that's all, you have covered both formats...
