I am in the process of buying an external DVR expander drive and am curious if any owner has a Slingbox that they are using with their SATA drive. Before I proceed with a purchase, I would like verification that the Slingbox has recognized the content of the external SATA drive.

From what I have read, I would "think" that it would but prudence dictates that I post this question.

What does a Slingbox have to do with a SATA drive?

Sling box just captures what comes out of the DVR box's a/v output, depending on which one you connected it to. So far there should be no issue with what HDD is connected to the DVR, as long as the DVR can play content, Sling box can capture it.
