I am doing a comparison thread between the discs sizes of both HD and BD formats over here - http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=847311

So I needed to know the HD equivalents.

I know very few HD DVD discs are single layer, I know of Chronos, 16 Blocks, Firewall, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and Rumor Has It - but don't know the others.

Can anyone help?

you should also include info. about which disks are combo.

i am sure blu-bias and anti-combo people will want to ignore the extra space in dvd9. but, it could be used for anything. studios choose to put sd version there as an "extra".

In my sig I have some disc sizes. It would seem that both Fast Times at Ridgemont High and The Polar Express are single-layer.

The weird one is Happy Gillmore. It's 15.1 GB - 16,233,070,592 bytes. I wonder why they didn't try to make better use of the space.
