It was never announced for HD release... Since it is a Weinstein film, it might show up before the end of the year... But they haven't even talked about Hoodwinked yet.

I don't think Weinstein has released a single day-and-date release. I'm sure it will be announced eventually.

Yes this will see release on HD DVD in August or September, along with Hoodwinked possibly. Hoodwinked I know is in plans for HD DVD, I spoke with the rep for Genius.

Yes he has always been right. I e-mailed him about Black Christmas, looong before the release of the DVD and asked him. At first he said he couldn't realease the information, but I convinced him to let me know. Ever since then he was been nothing but great. Another one to look for after the DVD release is Hannibal Rising.

Hannibal Rising has been will release in the September-October batch of HD DVDs, along with Hoodwinked and Artur and the Invisibles.

Regarding Hoodwinked on HDDVD. I don't remember where I got this link, but it shows that Hoodwinked is on sale now. Apparently it was just recently released.

I can't wait for Arthur to come out. I love Luc Besson movies. I cancelled the DVD on Netflix when I heard it was coming to HD-DVD. I hope it's soon.

I don't know about DVDSTARS but I know that whenever a release is delayed and the date has passed, DVDPlanet just puts temporarily sold out in the availability field (i.e. the Protector). It means nothing. The disc has not been released yet.

There is a rumor that it is to be released to coincide with the BD release of Kill Bill 1 and 2.
