Hmm my Letters From Iwo Jima shipped as of yesterday, however my Ultimate is still in process...these were 2 seperate orders as well

just checked my status order and it said it was canceled, don't know why cause the money was in my account since May 1st. they most of tried to run it when i didn't have enough in the account for it back at the end of april. WHV don't send you any notice or anything huh?

Ordered 3/30, shipped 5/14, scheduled arrival 5/18. I got lucky enough to see a demo of these HD-DVDs on a RS-1, and the PQ is exceptional, as is the sound. Can't wait.

Probably has something to do with shipping don't ya think. UPS Ground takes 7 days coast-to-coast for my order which shipped on Monday. Someone two states away shouldn't expect their order to ship the same day as mine.

Looks like they are doing their best to get orders out to arrive by street date to me.

There should be one with the confirmation email that was sent to you when you made your order...Also, you can always contact them via phone with your order number and they would be able to get the status of you shipment....

Mine's still "in process" and I pre-ordered it back on 3/26/07. For those of you who's sets have shipped, what type of shipping did you use? I admit that I went with the cheapest shipping available so perhaps that's the reason mine, and perhaps others', hasn't shipped yet?

can anyone tell me why WHV would cancel my order without me canceling it? i ordered in april 1st and the money for it has been in my account since may 1st.

The first DVD i bought was Blade. I thin the matrix was late 99 or early 2000. Matix was the 2nd movie I purchased on dvd.(I think that was right before I went to middle school).

Blade used the sunglasses, trench coats, dual pistols, and bullet time before the matrix. But I watched the "I know kung fu" scene and Lobby shooting spree like everyday for a month.

i had it in the account the day i ordered it also, but since i had a month at the end of april i only had half the amount in the account. they must have tried to run it again close to the end of april to check again and it wasn't all in there then. i get paid once a month (work for my local school system) and at the end of the month i usually running a little low on money.

My Ultimate has shipped for delivery on the 18th as well. Now to have UPS ass it up like they did with the Road Warrior (they held it in a facility for over a week before it moved.....)

Ime so excited, i am getting my Matrix tomorrow. I bought the Complete Trilogy. Got tracking no and everything. Ime so glad i picked hd dvd, i refuse to buy blue ray. I have over 80 movies and just can't resist. This is like waiting to have sex with a fine babe, the wait is killing me. Better than sex Matrix in hd dvd, my god, this is like a dream. I have to pinch myself.

This is the movie i have been waiting for, this entire year. Plus it gets a 10 out of 10 for pic quality, all three discs, all right. My XA-2 will have some ammo tommorrow

Okay, decided to go with Reloaded 1st to watch only because the freeway scene was very enticing to watch as shadowrage mentioned, not my favorite of the 3, but I thought it had some of the best action scenes. All I have to say is "WOW", Warner Bros definetly delivered on this one. Excellent transfer, great PQ & AQ!

I wouldnt worry too much I havent had any broken spindles in any of the orders that I have received.....The packaging may be weird, but I havent had a problem so far....My PE delivery box was pretty banged up and the discs were still very securely sitting in their cases...

I ordered the Complete Trilogy back in early April. I got the email that mine shipped out on 5/16. It's scheduled to arrive 5/21. My condo neighbors are going to be hating me next week.

Warner seems to be shipping by region / zip code, so they all arrive around the same time. Did you check your "MyExpressCheckout" account? They sent an email after ordering from Warner with info on the account.

I haven't received any email shipping notice from Warner, nor has the charge appeared on my CC. But when I checked MyExpressCheckout account this morning it showed that it shipped yesterday (Matrix Trilogy & Iwo Jima) , and the UPS tracking indicates I'll have it Monday - I'm in Arizona. Yeah! :D

I just checked mine and it said a late train caused a delay, but it is now in Hodgkins, IL and should make it to Chicago by tonight. However because of no Saturday delivery it should get here monday morning.

Travisimo - You probably had it shipped ground, in which case I dont think UPS lists updates until it arrives. At least that is my experience. Since they didnt get to charge you much for delivery, they are not going to give you up to date details on where it is-you gotta cough up dough for that! Greedy biatches.

Has you guys tracking not updated...Mine updated at 1:00 saying that it was on a train that was delayed. I figure they would of shipped all chicago orders together.

From my limited experience with such things they doni't sort them by region at all. They simply start filling orders from the list and sticking shipping labels on them. UPS picks them up and then their logistics system figures out which packages go to which city.

They obviously aren't filling them strictly from the order in which they were placed or by name alphabetically. My last name starts with a lower letter in the alphabet and I placed my order on 4/20 and mine still shipped out before others who ordered in March.

Before people call them up and yell at them, realize that the way they probably did it was to divide the pre-order list among different distribution centers and those centers are filling the orders as fast as possible based in part on what stock they have on hand.

Mine shipped from Sylmar, CA on the 15th scheduled to be delivered on Monday here in IL. However, I must admit that I'm a little worried. It hopped over to Cerritos, CA on the 16th but it still hasn't left there yet and it's now the 18th! I guess it could still make it by Monday....

Just an FYI that I got home from work today and the Ultimate Matrix Collection was waiting by the door. I live in Elkridge, MD.

I didn't take advantage of the WHV deal on The Ultimate Matrix because I'm in California and with tax the price was no better than the Amazon deal.

I waited until just the other day to place my order through Amazon just in case any better deals came along. Now Amazon is saying my copy won't ship until May 29 - 1 week after release! :confused:

I guess I'm far down in the queue, so that's life. Does anyone know of any other places that have a good deal on the Ultimate Matrix Set? Thanks.

Been waiting all day for mine to be delivered, and up until 8:45 tonight it said scheduled. Now I get this. I hate UPS.

I just saw The Matrix and it is the best video I've seen to date. It still has some of the issues that all discs have, but they are at the lowest degree that I have seen. It was phenomenal!

Well, here it is just shy of midnight on Friday night / Saturday morning and the UPS tracking number STILL shows it sitting in Cerritos, CA. An earlier poster said that they probably just haven't updated the tracking info because it is ground shipping. And while it is true that it shipped via ground shipping, any other time I've used UPS Ground, it always shows a departure scan from CA and then a long wait before it arrives here in the midwest.

This time, however, there is no departure scan from CA so I am a bit paranoid that it still hasn't left CA. If that's the case, there's no way it's going to get here by Monday via ground shipping. I'll have to give them a call tomorrow if there still is no movement. Sorry to you all that had yours delayed by a train!

I ordered on 4/27, Letts from Iwo Jima reads "Shipped", and The Ultimate Matrix COllection reads.... "Back Order"............. :mad: :mad: I Ordered Planet Earth a couple days before it came out and didn't get back ordered but get back ordered for my Matrix Set!? Common... lol, that freakin sucks, and for such an epic release to.

Received my "Complete" set yesterday. Watched the the first movie last night.
Reference quality. Video is right up there with King Kong, Phantom, Batman Begins.
Audio seems really good too. Seems to have more presence and more surround
effects than the SD release. Extremely happy so far. I think this is going to be a
tremendous seller.

Whew! I just checked this morning (Sat) and there is a departure scan from Hodgkins, IL so I'll have mine on Monday as well! Congrats to all of you who got yours for the weekend... I'll have to watch the first one Monday night after work.

Hey I was question about flippers...I obvisouly bought the Ultimate Matrix.I thought if you wanted to see the Sd extras you would have to get up and flip the disk,which I don't mind at all.
As I was watch reloaded end credits,the whole Rage against the Machine sound track playing on,when it ended the features came! No need to flip the disc!!!!!!

(In a Voice Jerry Seinfeld voice) What's the deals with flippers HDdvds??? They call them flipper but there no need to flip them???

There are some extras on the HD-DVD side in the Ultimate edition, but there are more extras on the flip side. Read the back of each case to see what's on each disc (side a/side b).

Did anyone order their Matrix set from Walmart? If so, did there's ship yet? Mine still says processing.

They charged my account Thursday but today it is no longer charged.

Hallelujah!! My UMC finally shipped from WHV and it's coming out of Sylmar. I should get it by the 21st. I was extremely close to switching my order over to Amazon.com and returning WHV's shipment to sender.

Not sure if there are any west coasters still "in process" but go check your account and see.

No...simply meant I had watched the first film of the trilogy. :cool:

just got my Complete Trilogy set fromWHV, and even though it was packed very badly, it's in mint shape. I'm really loving the hardshell casing, glad they didn't go with something flimsy. Amid all the CC $19.99 speculation, I'm just glad to finally have it!

Got my Ulitmate today. No damage issues.

Mine came in, packaged sorta poorly as well (the set inside a larger box with no packing). But everything is in great shape, discs are fine, watched this past weekend and very satisfied. A nice exchange, though I wish they would use some better/anything packing material next time.

I received my Complete Trilogy set today. While the packaging won't win any awards, everything arrived intact and in pristine shape. No broken cases, crushed disc holders, etc. I can't wait to get home from work and fire these up on the A2. My neigbors are going to hate me, but they will just have to live with it tonight. Can't wait to hear the TrueHD track of the first two....

Got mine today as well. Watched few bits of the first movie, and loved it. This has to be the best HD transfer so far. More detailed than other movies I watched, and none of the softness that is evident in most other HD movies with VC-1. Has that rough BR look to it. Only watched the 1st one in so thats what I'm going off. The sound was even better. Kick ass transfers. PoTC will have a hard time beating this. Will see though once amazon decides to ship them, along with Apocalypto.

Just got mine and its amazing. I've only scanned through the first movie and the picture looks better than Kong and this movie is how many years old? Everything about this package is great except for having all the extras on a regular dvd disc.

IM STILL "IN PROCESS". They wont let me cancel it either, they said I can refuse recipt of the package and get my money back in 2-3 weeks.
