Why can I not find a dark brown GOM cloth in the FR701-2100 series. I have ordered more samples from GOM and cannot seem to find one. Does anybody know if they make one?

Theater Moose 05-16-07, 11:49 AM Several people, including myself, have used Coffee Bean from the Anchorage line. It's a nice chocolate brown with a bit of red. But like Big Mouth says, not in front of speakers. whiskey alpha 05-16-07, 12:39 PM I have looked at other lines but was unsure if they were acoustically transparent. GOM does not show them for acoustic panels. Can they be used? TrikinCurt 05-16-07, 01:58 PM Whiskey - You will find quite a few threads on this, but 2100 is the safest bet for everything, but not the prettiest by far. If it is for treatments many people go into lines like anchorage and I am sure others have for speakers - just expect to lose a little high end. Curt whiskey alpha 05-16-07, 03:04 PM We are actually not enclosing our speakers. The GOM is for the panels. I have already decided on the black Fr701 for the front system but was looking for something for the side panels. I have a crap load of samples to send back to GOM. I did request a cocoa bean sample this morning so we'll see what it looks like. Thanks for the input. |
