Hi all ... My following set up was installed whilst I was away on business in my purpose built room yesterday :-

Nad Master System - M15 - M25- M55

PSB Platinum - T6 C4 S2´s

JVC HD1

Stewart 106in Firehawk Screen.

MIT cables

.... Now Im not suggesting that my installer doesnt know what he is doing , but this is Spain and sometimes it is ´Manyana´or just lazy here !

They have connected the Projecter directly to the DVD player with HDMI , and then just connected the Pre-amp to the DVD by Digital Coax?

For the guys in the know , what suggestions for the best set up of the kit ??

Also Im sure that in this way it is set up the DVD player is not Upscaling ??

Sorry if im sounding like a complete Newbie ... but any ideas for the DVD , Projector settings .

Im not 100% certain as still need to speak to the installers tommorw but I think the projecter has been ISF calibrated ... not sure though how can I tell.

With regards to the speakers being broken in ... how should I do this and what sort of levels can I play films now ??

Appears set-up correctly. That is how I would do it. Just play the speakers at your normal volume for a few days and the drivers will break-in. Many DVD players will only upscale from the HDMI output.
