Reasons why? Thanks IronForge 06-01-07, 09:29 PM I use a betson imperial multisync monitor.. it is a 27" CRT and is curved... I think most of the authentic monitors are curved.. so that is probably what I would go with. enchntr 06-01-07, 11:30 PM Guess it depends on your cabinet. If you have an old school type of cabinet, a rounded tube would be your best bet, with flat plexi over it for a more authentic feel. If you have a custom, more modern cabinet, I think a flat screen would be fine. Personally, I have the WG 27" in my cabinet and love it. blinx 06-02-07, 08:21 PM Defnitely go for a flat screen monitor I have a 19" flat screen NEC and it totally pwns games I love it... IronForge 06-05-07, 09:16 PM There are a couple of comparisons on this page between an arcade monitor and pc monitor.. that may help. http://www.retroblast.com/reviews/UltimarcArcadeVGA2-1292007-01.html Also at that site are several arcade hardware related reviews. |
