Is there is a way to record hi-def Playstation 3 gameplay via HDMI?

I have the same question as the guy above, but my dilemma I need to do it on a laptop as my office where the PC is and the living room where PS3 is, are waaaay to far apart. I want to be able to capture my 1080 PS3 gameplay onto my laptop. Can anyone help me out there? I really don't want to sacrafice my 1080 just to capture gameplay footage.
