I thought I have seen pictures from someone that has done this, but can't find them. It was setup so you could move the projector forward and backward several feet, and also side to side several inches. This would be a very nice setup for finding that great setup, and also make it better when upgrading. I am interested in seeing some pictures to help get me in the right direction.
Thanks for any help,
John

I have not seen it but I like the idea of moving the projector forward and backward.

I just mocked up something similar for my mount to see how it would work.
It made adjustment faster than ever. I didn’t do a in and out slide I’m doing that with zoom. But side to side was always a problem for me now it’s pretty easy.

Thanks :)
Like I said it’s mostly concept at this stage I spent all of 30 minutes putting that together from scraps of plywood I had around. But the idea is sound and you could make it as fancy or long as you wanted.
I’m actually making another just like it. My niece is looking into projectors and she has a wood beam 12’ from the wall they think they want the screen on. So what I’ll do is screw the second mount up on the beam and slip my projector in at her house and take my rollup bed sheet screen over and demo it out for them.
