View Full Version : Any horizontal cylinder installs/pictures?

Looking to get feedback from anyone who has installed a cylinder subwoofer horizonally, instead of the standard vertical orientation. I thought I remember actually seeing an install pic here somewhere, but cannot find it.

Any cons to this approach? I assume some sort of cradle is needed to support it.

btw, I'm considering a PC Ultra for this. I could have posted this in the SVS thread, but assume this question can apply to all subs.

Yeah I think there were a couple pics, one of a theatre room with them laid horizontal below the screen and another of them laid behind a TV and mains.

My boy Mag has his installed like that. I'll see if I can find the pics.

BTW, he uses the foam inserts in the packaging of the sub to cradle it.
