It is mounted in the basement where the HOMEOWNERS boys have a playroom shared with a semi home theater. The HO are worried that the kids will hit it with a ball or something.

I don't know if I want to make a drywall box, a wood box to match the Cabinets down there. Or some sort of a wire mesh box.

Any pics or ideas are more than welcome. :D

You can buy a mesh box to house it that also locks. they don't look great but oh well.
I cannot imagine having children IN the theater room without total adult supervision and no playing at all I would be concerned about the screen, projector and multi thousands of electronic equipment and speakers.

I'm sorry but I don't think a Home theater and play room go together at all.

Thanks for input, where might I find one of these boxes?

The room is a huge finished basement.

The screen is motorized so it goes up into the ceiling.

Speakers are in wall and ceiling.

Audio and video components are in a closet in another room.

I guess it is really a multi purpose room.

I wonder if they would get pissed off if I bought a $5.00 laundry basket? :D

It will work, and it is cost efficetive....

Kind of reminds me of the Blues brothers playing behind the wire mesh..yeehaa! ;)

A mesh style box would look cool if it was powder coated and it would also allow plenty of cooling to the pj too.
