I currently have my old CRT near my subwoofer. I'm wondering if putting a DLP TV near the subwoofer might damage the TV at all? I know you're supposed to keep PC's at least 2 feet away from the sub as the magnets ( I think? ) inside can damage the PC / hard drives. Any such phenomenon with TV's?

i hope not. my DLP is a foot form my sub, which is a foot from my PC.
Vibrations can do things to the internal parts of the tv. Depends on how loud you play it.

You need to control vibration. There are isolation pads for subwoofers that might work. I suppose it depends on how solid your floor is. If it's a concrete pad then I wouldn't worry.
There is no electron beam to be distorted by the speaker's magnet so video won't be effected.
