In my newly setup system i'm going to run dual subs for 5.2. Would placing the subs in front in a stereo arrangement be better or worse than placing the subs in opposite corners.
Also using regular RCA cables for my subwoofer cable would be the same as using the digital coax with no audible differences right? Just making sure.

Depends on your room. You need to experiment. Normally placing 2 subs across from each other in the center of the opposite walls will help even out response in your room. Placing them along the same wall spaced out will give you a dB boost. Every room is different so you will have to experiment. Near opposite corners may also be good.
For the sub as long as your using Coax with RCA ends you'll be fine, don't use thin gauge cables with RCA ends.

Interesting. Never thought about putting them on opposite walls but this option will be impossible as soon as a i move some furniture there. I sort of have an awkwardly shaped room basically a square attached to a smaller square if you could imagine the picture. I will definately try out those options. Thanks
