Hey, I browse these forums ALL the time and finally decided to register. I am wondering if something like the Gefen Mini-Stereo to RCA Adapter (Use Google, I am not allowed to link on the forums yet.) would go both ways. Here is what I'm trying to do.

I'm trying to take audio out from my Xbox 360 (just think of it as a satellite receiver) and record it on my laptop. I was just wondering if I could use the Gefen Mini-Stereo to RCA Adapter and plug it into the microphone jack on my laptop and plug into the audio cables from my Xbox into that....would my laptop receive the sound?

Close but I need the red and white parts to be female. Anyhow, I found one at home and yes the audio goes both ways, I have tested it and it works. Thanks for the reply anyway. Maybe you can help me out still though.

My laptop only has 1 microphone input and I need to record 2 people using separate microphones...its there anything I can do?
