I misplaced the cable for my system.. I use optical but I would like to switch between sound sources.

It is a cable used by Creative and maybe some others. You can buy them at Radio Shack.

Looks like three 1/8 inch stereo to RCA cables and a couple RCA to RCA couplers would do the same thing.

Doesn't Creative use a 9-pin Mini-DIN to 3x1/8" stereo jacks cable?

Here it is. You can get this online. And your right I confused it for the ipod cable at ratshack.

If you notice though thet use a bit different than just a TRS on the 1/8 side going to the PC.

Looks like his card is just a 5.1 surround not a 6.1

Just looks three 1/8 stereo plugs to me.

Regardless regular TRS 1/8 to RCA will work.

Someone HAS to make these cables otherwise how could they package them in the speaker sets.. and yes my Logitech Z-680's are a 5.1 system.

They're just reg 3.5mm plugs. I have a Creative 5.1 speaker system that use the 3 color coded plugs, and I've plug in a 3.5mm Y splitter for the front channels to run get sound from my consoles to play on my Dell LCD with it's TV hookups. So it's no different from the OEM wire you got with the Logitech system. Just they color coded and binded the 3 jacks together.
