As I said in my other post here - I'd like to install a 40-42" plasma on my wall in the corner of my living room.

First I'd like to know what the best online retailer would be for the items like switchplates, junction boxes, HDMI jacks etc? RamElectronics still the best?

Second I'd like to know what I need.

I know I'll have the following:

Probably a Panasonic 42" plasma with some kind of articulating arm mount since TV will hang in a corner of our Living Room - need to be able to pull it out and angle it (could use some suggestions)
Pace 775 Tahoe cable box using HDMI out to TV & RCA audio out to TV too
Oppo 970 DVD player using HDMI out to TV and coax audio to A/V receiver
Xbox 360 using either Component or VGA to TV and Toslink to A/V receiver
Harman/Kardon AVR235 with either 5.1 or 6.1 audio (depending on how our remodel goes and how the rear center channel speaker will look) - not sure where I'll put the L/R front & center channel speakers (could use advice)

Anyway - this is my first install like this - so any advice or suggestions anyone would offer would be welcome. Thanks.

Bill,

My 2 online retailers of choice are Monoprice and outdoorspeakerdepot.com - there are lots out there but I've spent a small fortune with those 2 and even in the rare case when a shipment arrived damaged they made it right :) Both are top notch in my opinion.

On the articulating flat panel mount check out the PDR mount I went with - you can pick them up at outdoorspeakerdepot.com for a good price they are one of, if not the best built display mounts out there ( I can hang off mine and I'm 180 lbs).
Post # 368 in my thread has a few pictures.

Ram and blue jean are both pretty highly regarded here on AVS as well.

Have fun shopping.
Cheers
