interesting thing. i like to tell myself i know more than i do. i wish i did, but sometimes i need a bit of help.

alright. i own a set of "spherex xbox 5.1" speakers. you know. i use them for my computer. i used them with my 360 and game consoles until i moved my stuff into the basement where the larger television is.

when i play audio through the speakers, they rattle.
it really ticks me off. so i hook my 360 and a cd player up to see if the speakers are the problem. i play the same cd, and aerosmith cd, and no rattle. the speakers are fine.

just when the computer uses them. i had it hooked up via a coxial cable. so i switched to an analog cable to see if there would be a difference. nope, same stinking rattle. i played with the equalizers on the computer, and determined that the only thing right now that helps is turning the volume to an unnaceptably low lever.

so the problem is the computer. i tried different cables that i know work, then i tried them with other devices and the performance was fine. so the computer is the problem. so right now im not using the speakers for anything. i want to, cause they give off a nice sound.

anybody know anything?
