I have a 360 Elite and am looking at buying a Sony 40s3000 TV. The problem is that when I use my elite with this set at 720p, it senses pc timing and many menu options (color & hue) are disabled. This is a problem, as Iike to crank the the color up on games.

Sony says if I run the 360 1080i, the pc timing won't be engaged and all should work. I am considering re-buying one of these sets.

I know I'm about to restart the 720p vs 1080i debate, but is there legitmately anything that would hurt performance running at 1080i? Wasn't there something with Perfect Dark having aspect problems?

Thanks. Other than that issue, this is a very pretty tv.
