I'm looking for calibration settings for a new out of the box TV. I've seen a few contradictory suggestions on other websites. 1 would say color = +5 and the other color = -5....not very helpful
Does anybody have suggestions for this model Sharp ?

THX from San DiegoPerhaps you expect too much. There are likely to be sample to sample variations that mean different settings for individual sets. Also, if people are "eyeballing" the settings then the variations of individual preferences come into play.

I haven't found too much information on the set yet. On other models ( plasma or LCD ) I have found messages with a great deal of information for calibration settings on new sets, contrast levels, brightness, color..etc...
I haven't found much for this model yet. A little bit here and there and the information was contradictory, 1 said use a color of +5 another said -5, so where does that leave you ?...nowhere....
I was hoping somebodu had done a LCD version of the plasma settings that D-Nice did for the plasma's....he did a fine job.
Anybody have this model care to share their settings ?

I bought LC-37D43U a few month ago and while I wasn't able to find the calibration setting online, I did find something that is probably close, go to lcdtvbuyingguide and look for the LC-37D40U review, I'm pretty sure this is just the previous model.
