Title says it all. I used to have 5.1 through the Toslink connection to my Denon 2803 receiver. I noticed yesterday that I'm now just getting stereo to my receiver, not 5.1. I checked the setting on the dashboard-- it is definitely set to "Dolby Digital 5.1 out"-- I even toggled it back and forth. My Denon is set properly too-- it's not detecting 5.1, only stereo.

Did the Spring Update do this to me? I just noticed it.

Do you have problems with any other sources? ie games, dvds ....

Nope, no problems with other sources. DVD and HDTivo come through as 5.1 just fine. I don't have any other game systems.

I notice that when I watch an episode of south park or on certain XBLA games that the optical out only puts out a stereo signal. Most of my games on disc though output in Do;by Digital.

Perhaps your source material is not in Dolby Digital?

I've also noticed that stereo material is coming through as 2-channel PCM. Before the update stereo material would come through as DD5.1, but only the front left and right would be active, and everything else would be silent.
