This thread was formerly called, "Are There Any Anamorphic HD DVD Demos on a DVD?"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is it just my collection or what?
I want to show my co-workers and friends a demo or promo of HD DVD and its features, but it seems that every demo or promo I've found on my DVDs is a letterboxed (4:3 based) "widescreen" clip, rather than being an anamorphic (16:9 based) higher-quality clip that would be a lot more impressive.
I don't understand why anyone, in this day and age, would put out anything "Letterboxed" in a 4:3 frame, when they are promoting the next-generation idea of HD DVD.
I can't carry my HD DVD system around with me, but I'm really looking for some of the highest-quality mpeg-2, 16:9, anamorphic clips, demos, and promos that will play on a standard DVD so I can entice more friends to check out HD DVD.
Any recommendations?

ps
I'll buy whatever titles I may not own to get some great demo material,
but I may already own something I've missed. Here's a link to what I have currently to work with:
