I forgot you need media center to connect to your 360 to play movies and pics, I know there a program out there to do this without MC. Can someone please tell me what it is.


Look up and click search, then enter what your looking for and hit GO or download TVersity... :D

Windows Media Player 11 will do the job fine.
Ditto for the Zune software.
There are also several third-party apps that provide the required UPnP service.
Tversity is one that besides streaming files, also handles on-the-fly transcoding for those that rely on P2P-friendly formats.
On the Mac, you can use Connect360 to similar effect.
And there are at least two servers apps on Linux that work with the 360.
Just pick your poison.
