Just thought I'd let you guys know that Circuit City is having a deal this week where you get a free $19.99 X360 game when you buy either Forza 2 or Shadowrun. It does not, however, give a list of games to choose from, so I wouldn't expect much, but hey, it's still a free game.

The add says available on Wednesday.

GUN is $19.99, Table Tennis is also $19.99, and I think maybe Ridge Racer 6? I'll probably get GUN out of the 3.

Does the deal include the preorder code for the extra car? That is the main reason I ordered early from GS.

I think that the games wil include The Outfit, xbox live arcade unplugged, Disney's Cars, Lego Star Wars 2, Blitz the league, Table Tennis, Bomberman Act Zero

These are the only games that are listed for less than 20 on their website.

I think you get the free game if they dont get the game in-store by 2pm wednesday. If they do get it in, then I dont think you get anything.

If the game is not in by 2:00 on Wednesday, then you get a $20.00 gift card.

So, ideally, they don't get the game onto the shelves until 5 minutes after 2:00 so that you get both the $20.00 gift card AND a free game!!

OK, I just got back from my Circuit City. I was pretty excited because it wasn't on the shelf. This was exactly at 2PM. I finally found someone to assist me and asked about the game. He said they *just* got their delivery, so I figured I would get the $20 gift card. Then he said, "Oh, we got a UPS delivery earlier. Check at the checkout." They had it behind the counter, so I didn't get the $20 gift card.

When she rang it up along with Table Tennis, she said the total was $42 even. I thought, "That's weird. Maybe they are just knocking $20 off instead of giving me the card. Don't say anything. Keep your mouth shut. Hand her your credit card." She swiped it, and it wouldn't take.

She tried to ring them up again and then asked the manager for assistance. What happened was she rang both games up, and Forza rings up for $40 and Table Tennis for $20. She had then deducted the $20 for Table Tennis, and I guess the computer wouldn't let her proceed. I paid $60 for both games. No big deal, it's what I expected. But $40 for both games would have been sweet.

One other customer was buying both Forza and Shadowrun.

if they didn't have an extra copy of lego star wars 2 in the back, I was just going to leave with forza. the only other 19.99 game they had on the shelf was the outfit. I wouldn't even take that for free.

LOL. I hear ya. There aren't many $20 Xbox 360 games out there, and the ones that are are $20 for a reason. For some reason, my Circuit City had Lego Star Wars II priced at $39.99, so I didn't even try to get that one for free.

I picked up Lego Star Wars 2 with Shadowrun. It was that, Cars, or Just Cause. Anyone know if Just Cause is a decent game. I still am thinking of picking up Forza 2.

Our local CC had ZERO $19.99 games. So the guy at the counter went to the manager and suggested they give us (There were two of us buying Forza and two Shadowrun) a $29 game instead. He agreed with the idea and did so.

Best customer service I have ever gotten at a big box store.

I picked up Table Tennis with Shadowrun at Circuit City. I may try to talk my way into getting a free copy of Tetris with Forza 2 later in the week. ;)

I went to Circuit City a few minutes after 2 to ensure I either got the game or the gift card. The girl behind the counter said they didn't get any in stock and because of that she didn't have to give us a gift card. I argued, showed her the ad, then waited as she went to talk to her manager. She came back and said the (1) in the ad referred to they'd only have to honor the gift card deal if they didn't get one game in-store and then claimed they'd had one earlier but had sold. I pointed out that the (1) referred to fine print at the bottom of the ad (like an asterisk), which said the gift card deal was for today only between 2 and close. She then went to the manager again.

This time when she came back she had a box with games in it. Apparently someone had received them, opened them, then proceeded to leave them sitting in the back without bothering to enter them into the computer. So, I got Forza 2 and went to pick out a $19.99 game. Oddly enough, Command & Conquer 3 was marked at $19.99 its placeholder. I grabbed that and the placeholder and went to check out. After some more talking to the manager, she gave me that game for the deal.

So, I got Forza 2 and Command & Conquer 3 for $60. Not bad, in my opinion.

After that, I went over to Best Buy, price-matched Planet Earth, Flags of our Fathers, and Letters from Iwo Jima HD DVDs to Target's (Amazon's) prices and then got the $20 off the purchase of 3 HD DVDs on top of that. I ended up saving about $125 today at the two stores ($60 at Circuit City and $65 at Best Buy). As all my purchases totaled about $160, that pretty good, I think.

just got back from CC with my copy of Forza 2. Only 19.99 games they had were Tony Hawk Americn WAsteland and Arcade Unplugged. Kinda sucks. I was looking for table tennis. do u think i can take Tony HAwk to a different CC and exchnage it for table tennis?

so, i returned a (defective) wireless 360 headset, got Shadowrun and Forza 2, then got lego star wars (marked at 49.99) and Table Tennis (marked at 29.99) for free with each purchase

total cost, $63, plus the 40 i paid for the headset last month, not bad for 4 games.

i wanted to get Just Cause instead of table tennis, but it was ringing up as 30 in their computers, and said 30 on their website, so they wouldnt give me that. also didnt know moto gp was part of the deal, where is this "list"?

Well the Circuit city near work did not get the game at 2pm (I managed to finish work early for a change) so I got a $20 gift card. Then on my way to work I stopped by another CC and they apparently just got their shippment (man I would have almost scored another $20). So I got it, and managed to get my selection of free game (Picked Lego Star Wars2, had it for the PS2, but it is really fun).

My son has monopolized the Xbox so far (Lego Star Wars) so I will be playing latter today........

Oh and those that are wondering, Lego Star wars and table tennis are both awsome games. Would easily spend more that $20 for either as they are both very fun.

Damn! You got fight night? That would have been the best. I was torn between Blitz the league (which I actually like quite a bit) and table tennis. I got table tennis and forza. Quite a deal if you ask me!
