Hi. I am planning on finishing my basement and putting a projector and some movie theater chairs down there. directly above i have a pretty good setup. a few video game systems, hd cable box etc. all hooked up to a pretty nice onkyo reciever. is there any way i can get it setup where all that stuff gets sent down to the projector? i know there are ir repeaters to control the cable box and reciever. and the reciever supports speakers for another room i believe. i also know that there are those component distrobution so it can send a hd signal to something other than the main monitor. so i think i need those things but, what i havent found is how do i use my ps3 and 360 controllers in the basement while the systems are upstairs? is that possible? i think i saw one guys setup that had them in a closet in another room but it still worked. am i going about this all the wrong way? please any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

No matter what you are going to have to have speaker wire, video wire, etc going downstairs. That is going to be a lot trickier than moving the equipment downstairs. Any reason you aren't planning on putting everything downstairs? You can get IR repeaters for the remotes but when I made the switch I built in an entertainment closet and moved everything into the basement.
