I'm ready to cancel my cable again. I'm going to hook up the XBMC again but I hate the dvd remote. Anyone using the media center remote and how well does it work? Or are there any others out there I should take a gander at?

It works.
Doesn't have the 360 specific stuff, of course, but other than that you get good response.
Mostly, I use the Harmony 360.
You can actually play a few Arcade games with it...
