is there a thread that tells what movies are full screen (2.35).??

like the hulk for example. i love the full size pic. even more so than better pq movies with the bars...yes i know that is how is "meant to be seen" but i love it when my 61" is full of movie....

Well... Full screen HD would be 1.78, and the Hulk was mis-labeled as 2.35. If you do a seach, I'm sure you can find a thread about the current 1.78/1.85 films. (All 2.35 films will have black bars.)

On another note... Beware that by stating that you prefer you're HDTV screen to be filled at all time, you're going to open yourself up to criticism on this news group. The general philosophsy of this forum is OAR or death. (I happen to agree with it, but I can't stop one's personal prefrences...)

well the hulk fills the screen and is a tier 0.......so whats wrong with enjoying a wide/full screen with awesome pq. and yes i prefer it more than the black bars....i bought a wide screen tv. why do i still have to look at black bars. and some are just out of control. a friend a a 50" and with the black bars he might as well be watching a 32"........dont get me wrong, i would never fill the screen to get eliminate the bars, i just enjoy the full screen size

The black bars would be even worse on a standard 4:3 television.
