What Dreams May Come has the potential to look phenomenal on HD. Very interested to see how that one turns out.

What dreams may come should look amazing, although to be honest, it would be the only reason I would pick it up. I'll pick up Meet the Fockers at some point.

Yeah, agree. It already looked great on the Laserdisc, especially the colors.

I might get Erin Ca-ca-bitch and What Dreams May Come. I really didn't like the latter, but it could be some sweet visual demo material.

No Dolby TrueHD on any of them. That sucks. :(

Didn't care for the film that much, but yeah, What Dreams....does have the potential to be rather nice in HD.

Meh, not much in that group. Maybe Meet The Fockers for me.

Erin Brockovich for me. As good as What Dreams May Come may look, there's no way I will ever sit through that movie again.

I really, really wish that Universal would start embracing TrueHD on all their titles. Same goes for just about every other studio releasing on HD DVD. Warner is the only one even trying.

we need more TrueHd and some 7.1 surround sound.

One thing about Blu-ray is almost every movie has PCM 5.1.

Why doesnt HD-DVD start doing it with trueHD and even doing some 7.1

I suspect Universal is still having technical problems with TrueHD, which is why it is more the exception than the rule on their discs. A lot of Uni titles with TrueHD tend to give me XA1 problems.

This may well be the case, as I did have some issues when End Of Days when I had the A1, however, I can't understand why Warner can get it right and Universal can't. I would blame U-Control but most of the TrueHD titles they have out now don't even have it.

I'll wait for reviews on What Dreams May Come. I didn't like the movie a whole lot, I don't own it. Erin, will stay right where it is in my collection on a 5 year old copy that was bought used from Block Buster. Doesn't deserve an upgrade....

I enjoyed watching Robin Williams in What Dreams May Come and think the movie is under-appreciated by most. I found it beautifully depressing throughout with a rather typical hollywood uplifting ending but what can I say, sometimes that's what I want. On HD DVD, I have to believe this one will make your screen appear it's dripping wet from oil paint. ooh yeah :D
