View Full Version : Will they offer a steering wheel With the Forza 2 Game included?
MColeman 05-29-07, 10:29 AM I'm pateintly awaiting buying the Forza II game tom. But I don't have a wheel yet. I'd like to buy them both together but don't want to pay extra for some antiquated game to be included with the wheel.
Will Forza require a "New" or "Different" type of wheel?
Hs anyone heard any info as to whether or not this combo will be available?
They dropped the MSRP $20 last week on the wheel.
Still cheaper to buy off ebay. Even if they made some bundle, it's be cheaper to buy it off ebay.
ooPAYNEoo 05-29-07, 10:52 AM thought I heard that there is a new MS wheel coming out, with gears and clutch? might be old news... jus sayin
DeepFreezed 05-29-07, 11:13 AM buy the wheel and then buy Forza 2. there you go, instant bundle
It'll probably happen eventually - the wheel is made more for Forza than PGR - but probably not until Forza goes Platinum. And who wants to wait for that?
This is the first I've heard of a new wheel - that would be sweet. The current one is good, but there's lots of room for improvement. Payne, do you have any details?
ooPAYNEoo 05-29-07, 01:57 PM no details unfortunately, probably too early to add to the "fact" category... I haven't tried any googling yet, but I skimmed over a blurb in the GAF forums. Can't remember where from, but I also saw a pic that looked authentic.

Yes MS is going to bring out ANOTHER racing wheel
*rolls eyes*
apparently, the person who replied just bought the current wheel. :)
Uhh... that reads as sarcasm, not someone saying they have knowledge of a future product.
Why is it so common for people on gaming forums to have absolutely no feel for sarcasm?
ooPAYNEoo 05-29-07, 04:59 PM Yes, you aren't seeing the entire context of the discussion (i did not fish out every word)...
a bit prejudice to assume he was sacastic though. Could be cynicism, frustration, humor? Maybe it was OT in the forum...? You don't know. At the very least, try to assume "people on gaming forums" know sarcasm when they see it.
And I am not saying that the 2 lines proves anything... but I remember the discussion and the point was made that there was "talk" of a new wheel.
Uh huh. This is nothing but silly rumor-mongering.
Hey, did you hear? They're coming out with a special Red vs. Blue 360 for the Halo 3 launch. Yes, that's right, ANOTHER Halo-schemed Xbox.
lacombo 05-30-07, 01:30 AM I was hoping for a wheel/game combo but dont see it anywhere, oh well. no room for a wheel anyway

Thanks for the followup Payne. I just did a quick Google search, and it seems like there are a bunch of rumors about a revised G25 from Logitech in June, which will support the 360. There's no actual evidence however. I'm wondering if we've got a mashup on our hands with this one.
G25? One wheel for two consoles and a pc? That would be nice!
