Hi, I have the AVIA and DVE calibration DVD, but I've lost the filters for the DVE disk. I know that the DVE color filters are slightly different from the AVIA filters. I was wondering if it was possible to use the AVIA color filters for the DVE calibration. Thanks.

Yes ...
And some of the DVE filters will differ from other DVE filters ...
ditto for AVIA.
Filters are not perfect ... they are only tools to get you close.

Thanks Michael, but can you explain how DVE filters differ from other DVE filters? I thought they used the same type of filters. How do you get consistent results if different filters are used?

Greetings
The companies that make them change sometimes. Sometimes even the same batch of filters will have variations. Suppliers change ... variations creep in.
I show this stuff to my clients all the time. "you like filters ... huh? ... well tell me which one is correct ..." (Giving them two blue filters from the same batch handed out at an ISF seminar and they look very different.)
They still serve their purpose though as tools. The filters were never designed to provide the "final" answer on where color and tint were set. So many people make this mistake when they use the filters.
They are tools ... to be used when you don't know where to set color and tint. They get you in the ball park ... but you need to use your eyes to determine if they actually gave you the right answers. Sometimes they give you very wrong answers because the TV is doing something that the filters cannot account for.
