I was just curious about getting the best picture for DVD playback. The 50" plasma I bought doesn't have a VGA input. Everyone is saying that if you want the 360 to upconvert your DVDs to your TVs native resolution, you need the Xbox VGA cable. The manual for my TV says, to hook up a Computer to it, to us a DVI-HDMI cable. How am I suppose to get the best picture if I can't hook-up a VGA cable. Why doesn't Microsoft make an Xbox 360-HDMI cable? That would make my life so much easier. Any sugestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

They do.....It's called an elite lol. But considering you already have a 360, find a vga-dvi adapter, and i think it should work. Hopefully someone with more experience will answer your question.

No, a VGA-DVI adapter will not work.

If you want to upscale your DVDs, get an upscaling DVD player. Or just don't worry about it -- they don't really make the picture look much better.
