Howdy,
Does anyone know the best and most effective way to calibrate your HDTV essentially for your Xbox 360.
This is the main reason why i bought my tv, so I want it to look the best for Xbox 360.
Cheers

I think the best way to calibrate for gaming is let your eyes do the work. If it looks to you.. GREAT!

I'd like to ask a follow-up question here in hopes that one of the AV wizards here might see this old thread. I've got a Panasonic 9uk Plasma and am attempting to do a HCFR/Getgray/Spyder2 calibration on the Xbox 360. Should I be using the "extended" video levels setting with the VGA cable? I think this has to do with changing black to digital 0 from the standard setting of 16. The Getgray faq states that DVDs are mastered using 16 as the reference but I'm wondering about games. Is there some advantage to using the extended settings or am I just wasting my contrast on BTB? Any ideas? Thanks very much for your input.

Do you have the HD DVD add-on? If so, you can purchase the DVE HD DVD. Works great. SJ

I think for HCFR and video... use the 16-235 defaults.
