View Full Version : Calibrating TV for Xbox 360 goldie87 05-30-07, 06:12 AM Howdy, Does anyone know the best and most effective way to calibrate your HDTV essentially for your Xbox 360. I've got a Panasonic 9uk Plasma and am attempting to do a HCFR/Getgray/Spyder2 calibration on the Xbox 360. Should I be using the "extended" video levels setting with the VGA cable? I think this has to do with changing black to digital 0 from the standard setting of 16. The Getgray faq states that DVDs are mastered using 16 as the reference but I'm wondering about games. Is there some advantage to using the extended settings or am I just wasting my contrast on BTB? Any ideas?
