A buddy of mine told me he would sale me his copy of Digital Video Essentials for $15. He brought it to me today in a black case that said DVE on the front with a tv set on it. The actual disk is also black. I put it in ps3 tonight and it will not work. I then put it in my pc to see what would happen and its only showing a size of 4.72GB...is this the true version of DVE or did he try to dvd shrink a copy for me? Either way, i'm getting my money back tomorrow!!!

DVE is a dual layer disc.

If the disc is blue ... then it is a rip.

Pressed dual layer discs are yellow or yellow clear.

Yeah, I know the difference and I kinda figured that when I saw the blue bottom. He said that was how he bought it and that he had the receipt...I'm getting my money back. Thanks for your help.
