picking up a samsung hls5687w saturday, and was wondering if there are any calibration/options i should use

i already know to turn off dnie

have ordered dve but wont be here for a few days

have several thx dvds with that tool that i plan on using

any other tips...i understand that each set is somewhatunique so im not expecting perfect settings from anyone

Movie mode is supposed to be close out of the box.

Michael is correct - Movie mode will be the closest out of the box, be sure to turn off DNIe as well. Once you receive DVE you can tweak a little further. We have a tutorial listed on our website to assist in this matter - the link is in my signature. Let us know if you have any questions. :)
