When something red comes up on the screen, you can see like blotches and stuff in it and it's kinda distracting. I have it on the factory settings right now. What can I do about this? Thanks

I've had two service techs look at it so far and Samsung hasn't wanted to fix it... dropgems 06-01-07, 06:03 AM Yea, it's weird. Like if a wall on tv is red or something, the red gets blotchy. I dunno if it's cause the settings for the color red are too high and it makes it look messy or what. dropgems 06-01-07, 08:46 PM I don't think it's a technical problem though, I think that the reds are just too strong that they sometimes look too sharp and detailed that they become pixelized and blotchy. Does anyone know anything about this? PhilipsPhanatic 06-01-07, 09:08 PM 50PF960A ??? Is that the right model # ? dropgems 06-01-07, 11:51 PM Sorry, it's 50PF9630A PhilipsPhanatic 06-02-07, 02:12 AM I don't think it's a technical problem though, I think that the reds are just too strong that they sometimes look too sharp and detailed that they become pixelized and blotchy. Does anyone know anything about this? Only reds ?? Did you change anything in the SM ? Has it been calibrated? How visible is it? Can you see it at normal viewing distance? During SD, HD, or DVD ? dropgems 06-02-07, 04:01 PM I haven't changed anything, it's at factory settings. It just seems like darker reds don't look as good as other colors. Like when something is red, it sorta looks sorta spotty as compared to other colors on the screen. |
