I couldn't find any posts about this product yet, so perhaps this is news. For starters, it looks like it could use a few more inputs.

Seems like Dragonfly with a different casing.

this is "new" :

The Acclaim also offers 3:2 insertion which is needed for the new HD Blu-Ray and HD-DVD formats now coming to the consumer market.

does it mean it's taking a 24p input from the players and output 60p ? Why would I need it to do that ?

Or a "whitehorse" ;)

Perhaps a better thermal management solution? I still don't get why they have an RGB output with only one HD analog input. Unless they are planning on violating their HDCP license, this is wasted real estate. Another HDMI (or two) or component input would have been better, IMHO.

That feature was already present in the Dragonfly:

"Dragonfly is the first to offer 3:2 insertion which is needed for the new HD Blu-Ray and HD-DVD formats coming soon to the consumer market."
