OK, I know I haven't contributed much of anything to this group over the years, but I have trusted this place as a very valuable resource that helped me decide that the Panasonic TH-50PX600u was the best TV for me at this time. I am upgrading from a TH-42PD25U/P that I bought for a very high price from Vanns over two years ago now that I am very happy with, but it is just too small. I really researched this purchase a lot, actually overdid it to the max; almost drove myself mad. But the price reduction finally put me over the top; I couldn't resist. Plus, for me, knowing how a Panasonic works made buying another Panny the right choice. The picture is excellent on every cable channel (ed and hd.)

Congratulations on your purchase! I image you bundled it with the free Harmony remote. However, enjoy all of your HD material.
