My current setup is some JBL 300.7 speakers (setup as 5.1), BIC H-100 subwoofer, and a Pioneer VSX-815 reciever. I like my setup but feel like I should be getting fuller sound from the center channel. Im thinking it might be because of the smaller drivers that are in this center channel and I thought about getting something bigger from JBL to replace this. Which JBL center channel would be an improvement over my current one? I see most of them on thier site are using 5" drivers which are larger then the ones I have. I was told to stick to the same brand of speakers I assume to keep the same tweeter sound. Thanks for any advice.
Ita rather late... Check tomorrow lol... Look for somehting alone the same product line that has larger drivers...
Have your check your crossover, or the volume/power getting to the driver?

Yes it gets very loud but the sound seems not as full as it should be. I think the x-over cuts them off at 100hz.... being as small as those drivers are I dont think id run them down to 80hz.
I was looking at this one....

Is it better then my current one that is the same in this setup....

I'm about to pull the trigger on this center channel.. can anyone tell me if this is actually an upgrade over my current sat style center channel?

One suggestion though, if you could stick to the EC-35 you'd have a huge improvement over the EC-25. It'd worth every penny though.
